The Ross Sea, South Pole: In a press conference earlier today, the Endangered Emperor Penguins praise North Pole, Inc. for its bold move to go paperless and protect the safety of their fragile environment.
“It was about time,” says Mumble, Spokespenguin for the Empire Penguin Flock. “Their records warehouse was huge and it was overtaking our nesting grounds.”
That wasn’t the worst of it. Stated Mumble in an interview earlier this week, “Every time the wind blew, papers flew all over the place. They were all over the ground, in the water, you name it. Our chicks couldn’t tell a real snowflake from a paper one anymore!”
With the move to a paperless system, North Pole, Inc. (NP Inc.) estimates that they will have the archives completely digitized by the year 2015. “We know this is a huge task and a challenging timeline.” said Alabaster Snowflake of NP Inc., “However, we are completely confident that it can and will be done with the help of eBizDocs and their team.”
Once space opens up in the warehouse, NP Inc. intends to donate the space to the Penguins to use as a sports arena. “We’re planning to host the 2020 Reindeer Games here at the Pole,” says Mumble, “and looking forward to the economic development that this move will bring. We are also planning to host the Pittsburgh Penguins for some exhibition hockey games.” He adds, “We hope to shine a light on all that’s good at the South Pole.”
