Who Wants Paperless Government, Anyway?

It’s obviously unpatriotic.  And forget about saving trees.

Just in time for Arbor Day 2014, we thought we’d share this frankly hilarous bit that appeared on the Stephen Colbert Report a few months ago.  Thanks to a political action committee funded by the Envelope Manufacturers Association,  Colbert does his usual skewering of the lobby group’s attempts to stop “progress” in the name of public good.

The only thing missing in Colbert’s rant is a suggestion that building codes include a requirement for bidets in public bathrooms in all new construction.  Fair warning, it is funny enough that you may snort your afternoon coffee all over any papers left on your desk.
